Your privacy at 1C

The short version

You can use this website without an account or a login. We don’t ask for personal information unless you fill out a form or give. When you do, it goes to Planning Center, the church management system 1C uses. We don’t sell your information. The only outside services that handle it are the ones named on this page, which we use to run the church.

Forms and sign-ups

Our forms (contact, prayer requests, Serve, Life Groups, baptism, the newsletter and others) and event sign-ups are run by Planning Center through Church Center. What you type goes straight to Planning Center, and 1C staff use it to follow up with you. Planning Center’s own privacy policy also applies.

Prayer requests

Someone on our leadership team reads every request and prays for you. We only share it on our member prayer sheet if you check the box that says it’s OK.

Giving

Online giving happens in Church Center. Your card or bank information goes to Planning Center’s payment processor and never passes through this website. 1C sees your name, the amount and the date so we can send giving statements.

Children

Information about children comes from a parent or guardian, for example through our first-time kids check-in form: a child’s name, age or grade, and any allergies or medical notes. We use it to check kids in, keep them safe and reach you during the service.

Videos and maps

Sermon videos load from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, and only after you press play. During the Sunday livestream, the Watch page shows YouTube’s standard player. The map on the Visit and Contact pages comes from Google Maps. YouTube and Google may set their own cookies when these load.

What this website stores on your device

This site remembers two things in your browser: whether you picked light or dark mode, and whether you closed the announcement bar. Site search runs in your browser and doesn’t send what you type anywhere.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, like which pages are read most and how often people tap buttons such as Plan your visit or Give. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. It doesn’t tell us who you are, and we don’t use it to sell anything or show you ads on other sites. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.

This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles basic connection data like IP addresses to keep the site running and secure. We may also count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies.

Changing or removing your information

Everything you give us is stored in Planning Center, which 1C manages. You can update your contact information yourself in Church Center. To remove your information, contact the church office and someone from our team will get back to you. We keep giving records as long as we need them for giving statements and tax records.
