The theme this year is “The Rest Of Your Life”, and will deal with the question “What am I going to do for the rest of my life?". We will focus on the many burdens that teenagers carry with them daily: unfair expectations that are placed on us by others, the ones we place on ourselves, beauty standards, pressures to be the smartest/funniest/strongest, and whether we are measuring up. Carrying any or all of these can lead to feelings of being worthless, burnt out, and just plain tired and ready to give up. But Jesus tells us to “come to Him, all who are weary and burdened, and He will give us rest.”!

HS Friendsgiving

We are having a “Friendsgiving” Thanksgiving potluck meal! Everyone bring their favorite dishes (make it yourself or have your chef grandma whip up something fancy and claim you did) and share in a delicious meal. Afterward, when we are filled to bursting, we will hang out and play games! Hope to see you there!

Find out by signing up to be part of our Warehouse Fantasy Football Draft!

All you have to do is text or email Jacob (jacob@1c.church) and he will send you an invite to the league. Then you can register your team for a chance at glory!

Draft begins Saturday, September 2nd at 8pm

***NFL football knowledge is beneficial, but not necessary to participate. Jacob or CJ would love to help you with your team!***

SIX FLAGS TRIP

On May 31st, we will be going to Six Flags in St. Louis all together! The cost is $75, which will cover transportation cost and your ticket into Six Flags. You can bring extra cash to cover food, souvenirs, or anything extra that you would like to enjoy while at the park! Make sure you sign up by May 22nd, so we can make sure we have enough seats on the bus! REGISTER HERE

CIY MOVE

It is finally here!! Our 2023 High School Camp sign-ups are open!! We are so excited to once again be taking our students to CIY MOVE this summer. We know this will be a time when God will move and speak in ways that only He can, and this will be a time when your student will make memories that will stay with them forever. This week-long trip will contain many opportunities filled, not only with fun and games, but with prayer, worship, and time dedicated to looking deeper into Scripture. CIY MOVE is a 5-day summer camp, that is designed for high school students to know Jesus better, deepen their relationships, and be sent out to grow and expand the Kingdom of God.

When you register, just pay a $50 deposit to secure your student’s price! Register before March 27th to get that early registration price!

We will send out an email in the months ahead with reminders, fundraiser opportunities, and camp updates, so make sure you give us a current email in the registration form below.
