Weeks September 20th and runs through November 22nd, 2026

Rooted is a 10-week discipleship experience designed to help you grow closer to God while building meaningful community. Whether you are exploring faith, ready to grow deeper, or looking for people to do life with, Rooted is a place to take your next step.

During the 10 weeks, you will learn foundational Christian beliefs, hear stories from the global church, and practice simple spiritual rhythms that carry into everyday life. Through daily devotionals, reflection questions, and prayer prompts, you will be equipped to spend intentional time with God.

Rooted is experienced in a group setting where weekly gatherings create space to share, learn from one another, and grow together. To get the most out of the experience and help foster strong community, participants are asked to commit to attending at least 8 of the 10 meetings.

Registration is $30 per person and includes your workbook for the experience. Childcare is also available and included at no extra cost.

If you are in need of financial assistance, please reach out to KatieB@1c.church for a discount code.

ADOPT A SUNDAY -
College Student Meal Ministry

Beginning in October, we'll be providing lunch for our college students after the 10:30 AM service on the first and third Sundays of each month.

College can be a busy and sometimes lonely season of life. Our desire is to provide more than just a meal. We want to create a place where students can gather around the table, build friendships, and stay connected with their church family. We're inviting individuals, families and life groups to adopt a Sunday. You can serve in whatever way works best for you:

You don't have to do everything on your own. Gather a few friends or your small group and serve together! Every contribution, big or small, helps make these meals possible and lets our college students know they are loved and valued.

  • HELP SET UP BEFORE LUNCH
  • HELP SERVE THE MEAL
  • HELP CLEAN UP AFTER THE MEAL
  • PREPARE A SIDE DISH
  • BAKE A DESSERT
  • DONATE TOWARD THE COST OF THE MEAL

If you'd like to be part of this ministry, email Misty@1c.church, or sign up at the Next Steps Area in the lobby and she'll help you find a date and a way to serve.

Together, we can make the church feel like home for our college students.

Our Thursday night service offers the same meaningful experience as Sunday, giving your family added flexibility without missing anything. For your child’s safety, we use a secure digital check in system through Planning Center. If you are visiting for the first time, friendly volunteers will help gather a few basic details and walk you through the check in process.

We look forward to meeting you soon!

Family Dedication

October 14th, 2026

5:30–7PM

Family Dedication is a ceremony where parents publicly commit to raising their child in a Christian faith, seeking God's guidance and support from the church community. It's a time for parents to express their desire to raise their child with Christian values and to ask for God's blessing and the church's support in that endeavor.

This is typically for children Birth-2 years old, but feel free to reach out if you have any questions or different situations!                                                                📥 Jess – jessica@1c.church and📥Alaina – alaina@1c.church

Weekly Prayer Groups

"We offer four weekly opportunities to gather at 1C for prayer in a group setting - come as you are, connect with others, and spend time seeking God together."

We pray because it's how we stay connected to God's heart and invite His power into the everyday details of our lives—our families, our struggles, our church, and our community. Prayer isn't just something we do before big decisions; it's the foundation everything else is built on.

Tuesday Afternoon | 12PM/Noon | Worship Center
Join us this Tuesday as we come together to seek God and lift each other up—we'd love to have you there!

Wednesday Evening Prayer Weekly | 5:00 - 5:45 pm | Fireside Room
Start your Wednesday evening in the Fireside Room for a time of prayer together at 5pm before Life Groups.  It's a simple, meaningful way to ease into the evening and connect with God and others before the night gets going.  All are welcome!

Saturday Morning Men's Prayer Group | 7:30 am |Fellowship Hall
Men’s Prayer Group began in 1990 and is the longest running prayer group in our history. Come and fellowship and spend time praying for our church and the needs of people, their friends and family. We meet at 7:30 AM on Saturday mornings in the fellowship hall at 1C.

Sunday Morning Prayer Weekly | 7:20 – 8:00 am | Life Group Room 4
Gather in Life Group Room 4 before the morning services begin for a time of prayer together. Join us at 7:20 AM as we prepare our hearts for worship, wrapping up at 8:00 AM just as the first service gets started.
