One of our church values is generosity with everything God has given us. We choose to live open handed lives because generosity reflects God’s heart. It allows us to bless others, support His work, and make an impact beyond ourselves.
Because of you and your faithful giving, we are able to carry out our mission of connecting unconnected people to Jesus Christ. This happens through ministries here at 1C and through missions beyond our walls. Ten percent of all giving is sent out to support missions locally and around the world. WHAT IS A TITHE?
A tithe represents giving the first 10% of your income back to God through the local church.
It's not just a financial practice, but a biblical principle that demonstrates trust in God's provision and supports the mission of the church. While the word "tithe" literally means "tenth," it's more about cultivating a generous heart and acknowledging that everything we have comes from God.

THE 3-MONTH TITHE CHALLENGE
Countless people experience God's blessings when they tithe, but often the first step is the hardest one to take. That's why we created the 3-Month Tithe Challenge. A money-back guarantee of sorts.
Essentially, it's a contract based on the promises of God in Malachi 3:10-11:
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty.
We commit to you that if you tithe for three months and God doesn't hold true to his promise of blessings, we will refund 100% of your tithe from the challenge.
