Rooted is a 10 week discipleship experience designed to help you grow closer to God while building meaningful community. Whether you are exploring faith, ready to grow deeper, or looking for people to do life with, Rooted is a place to take your next step. During the 10 weeks, you will learn foundational Christian beliefs, hear stories from the global church, and practice simple spiritual rhythms that carry into everyday life. Through daily devotionals, reflection questions, and prayer prompts, you will be equipped to spend intentional time with God. Rooted is experienced in a group setting where weekly gatherings create space to share, learn from one another, and grow together. To get the most out of the experience and help foster strong community, participants are asked to commit to attending at least 8 of the 10 meetings. Registration is $30 per person and includes your workbook for the experience. Childcare is also available and included at no extra cost.

If you are in need of financial assistance, please reach out to KatieB@1c.church for a discount code.

Registration closes Sep 14 at 12:00am

ADOPT A SUNDAY -
College Student Meal Ministry

Beginning in October, we'll be providing lunch for our college students after the 10:30 AM service on the first and third Sundays of each month.

College can be a busy and sometimes lonely season of life. Our desire is to provide more than just a meal. We want to create a place where students can gather around the table, build friendships, and stay connected with their church family. We're inviting individuals, families and life groups to adopt a Sunday. You can serve in whatever way works best for you:

  • PREPARE A SIDE DISH
  • BAKE A DESSERT
  • DONATE TOWARD THE COST OF THE MEAL
  • HELP SET UP BEFORE LUNCH
  • HELP SERVE THE MEAL
  • HELP CLEAN UP AFTER THE MEAL
You don't have to do everything on your own. Gather a few friends or your small group and serve together! Every contribution, big or small, helps make these meals possible and lets our college students know they are loved and valued. If you'd like to be part of this ministry, email Misty@1c.church, or sign up at the Next Steps table in the lobby and she'll help you find a date and a way to serve.

Together, we can make the church feel like home for our college students.

Missions 1C Supports Monthly

At 1C Church, our passion is to live out the Great Commission by bringing the Gospel to our local community, our nation, and the world. To actively support this mission, we give 10% of all weekly offerings directly to outreach and global ministry efforts.  Together, we’re not just going to church. We’re being the Church — on mission, every day.

Land Purchase Update!

I want to share some exciting news with those who may not have seen it on social media. Our church recently voted to purchase the land directly north of our property, and that purchase is now complete.

This land gives us something incredibly valuable. Room. Room to grow, room to serve, and room to consider opportunities that were not possible before.

We do not have all the answers about how the land will be used, and that is okay. Some of the best opportunities begin before there is a complete plan. Right now, we have the chance to imagine what could be possible and to pray about what God may want to do next.

This land could help us reach more families. It could create new ways to serve our community. It might become a place where children, students, and adults take their next steps of faith. The truth is, the opportunity that makes the greatest difference may be one we have not thought of yet.

We are thankful for the generosity of our church over the years, which has put us in a position to take this step. Your generosity today may open the door for future generations to find Jesus. This land is one example of how decisions made now can create opportunities far into the future.

As we look ahead, please pray with us. Pray that we will think beyond our current needs. Pray that we will listen carefully, dream wisely, and recognize the right opportunity when it comes.

We have more room than we had before, and now we get to discover what may be possible because of it!

Weekly Prayer Groups

We pray because it's how we stay connected to God's heart and invite His power into the everyday details of our lives—our families, our struggles, our church, and our community. Prayer isn't just something we do before big decisions; it's the foundation everything else is built on.

Tuesday Afternoon | 12PM/Noon | Worship Center
Join us this Tuesday as we come together to seek God and lift each other up—we'd love to have you there!

Wednesday Evening Prayer Weekly | 5:00 - 5:45 pm | Fireside Room
Start your Wednesday evening in the Fireside Room for a time of prayer together at 5pm before Life Groups.  It's a simple, meaningful way to ease into the evening and connect with God and others before the night gets going.  All are welcome!

Saturday Morning Men's Prayer Group | 7:30 am |Fellowship Hall
Men’s Prayer Group began in 1990 and is the longest running prayer group in our history. Come and fellowship and spend time praying for our church and the needs of people, their friends and family. We meet at 7:30 AM on Saturday mornings in the fellowship hall at 1C.

Sunday Morning Prayer Weekly | 7:20 – 8:00 am | Life Group Room 4
Gather in Life Group Room 4 before the morning services begin for a time of prayer together. Join us at 7:20 AM as we prepare our hearts for worship, wrapping up at 8:00 AM just as the first service gets started.
