Clark Griswold just wants one perfect Christmas, and by the time the lights won't work and the bonus check never shows up, his whole holiday is falling apart in front of his family. It turns out most of us carry the same kind of stress he does, just dressed up differently, unmet expectations, demanding relationships, and a culture that treats exhaustion like a badge of honor.

This message walks through Matthew 14, where Jesus is grieving the death of John the Baptist, surrounded by crowds, and short on resources to feed thousands, yet never panics, because His peace was never tied to His circumstances in the first place. From there it traces how Jesus made time to pray even when life never slowed down, and how that same invitation, "come to me, all who are weary", is still open today.

This is for anyone walking through a busy season exhausted, stretched thin by family or finances, and quietly hoping for a peace they can't seem to manufacture on their own.
